Talk about astounded, this was the second shock in one year I'd received for winning awards.

Brian's award for company member of the year was a total surprise, it had never entered my head that I would even be considered let alone win it, and I accepted that award with great pride and humility.

The Eagle award was again totally unexpected and it was a great thrill to receive it, but I feel I had to put pen to paper and say what seemed to be the theme of the evening, teamwork.

Crazy For You was without doubt a show, which encompassed this. Everyone from production officials, cast, backstage crew, front of house, ticket sales and kitchen ladies worked, as always, in one way or another to help towards the final product - a really great show. What other company could have everyone singing and dancing their way through such a demanding production.

The Showgirls were a part of this team, but without the brilliant, individual choreography of Pauline we wouldn't have been nominated for this award let alone win it, so thanks Pauline for your time, patience and most of all your talent."
