EAGLE AWARDS Since its inception in 1996, The Good Companions Stage Society has participated in the Eagle Awards, Derby Amateur Theatre's answer to The Oscars. Presented in July each year at The Derby Playhouse and hosted by local theatre critics, the awards cover musicals, plays and pantomimes. The Society is proud to sponsor the award for “The Best Supporting Performance by an Actor” in memory of Brian Glazebrook, a late Secretary, Chairman and President of the Society who also was Director/Producer of many of our productions and a well known character actor in the area. |
